What should your pup expect at eris arcana?

When you first arrive at the salon, come on in! We will meet you in the front lobby of our salon. We will discuss health history, haircut specifics, and any concerns you may have. We will also provide you with a window of time expected for pick up so you can plan your day!

Your dog will go right back and into the tub! We will be scheduling one-on-one services in which each groomer is only booked one dog at a time. This means little waiting around in kennels. After the bath, your pup will be blown dry. Following their blow out, depending on their specific services they will receive a brush out, nails trimmed, ears cleaned, and your desired haircut (if applicable). 

Every dog is unique, and every grooming experience is tailored to your dogs unique needs. Depending on your selected services, times will vary. Rest assured, your quoted time is the time it takes to safely complete your dogs service. We will likely give you an estimated time at drop off. An extra large dog with a Designer Haircut should be no longer than 4 hours and all other sizes and services will fall below that time. 

We will send you a message with a 15/30 minute heads up, in which you can use to start heading back to the salon. We ask that you remain in your vehicle until we send you a final message that your pup is complete and then you may re-enter the salon! We prefer you not return to the salon prior to receiving notification from us as your pet will be excited to see you! If you return prematurely your pup will likely be too excited to complete their service properly. 

Absolutely! Our software allows you to choose your schedule going forward, so your appointment is always ready for you. We can set this feature up for you at the end of your appointment or feel free to book again online, or give us a call! 

If both of your dogs are seeing the same groomer, one will hang out in a kennel while the other has their spa-day and vice versa. If you wish both of your dogs to be done simultaneously, we recommend you call the salon so we can book you accordingly!

Your online submission is technically a request and will need to be approved in order to be confirmed. If you are a new client, you will receive an e-mail with our Client Agreements for you to read through and sign electronically. You will also receive a text requesting you to confirm your appointment (which we encourage you to do so!)

Our price list consists of starting prices. Your price could increase due to several factors, including increased time spent with your dog. Behavior, coat condition, and age would all increase the time we need to take to safely complete your pet. We will be fully transparent about price and the status of your pet at all times. 

We may accept payments via cash, debit, credit, ApplePay / GooglePay Tap, or Venmo. All transactions are subject to New Jersey State Sales Tax including cash payments. We appreciate tips, however we do not accept tips on card payments, but you may leave a cash tip or through Venmo if you wish! 

Our shampoos and conditioners are all salon grade and use high quality ingredients. We do not accept store brand products brought from home. If you have a prescription shampoo provided by a veterinarian we are more than happy to apply it as a part of a skin care routine for your pet!
